The YA Book Prize celebrates great fiction for teenagers and young adults written by authors from the UK and Ireland, with a mission to get more people reading and discovering books. We're giving five lucky winners a set of the shortlisted titles, and a £30/€40 National Book Token to spend on even more books – it's the ultimate prize for book-loving teens!

National Book Tokens are proud to have sponsored Edinburgh International Book Festival for more than 40 years. The winner of this year's YA Book Prize will be revealed in a live ceremony on Thursday 21st August, hosted by author Laura Bates.
The prize is run by The Bookseller magazine in partnership with Edinburgh International Book Festival.
