Bookshop Description

Books is an independent bookshop and cafe in the border market town of Oswestry in Shropshire. Since opening in 2009, it has quickly established a reputation for the quality of its book stock and its strong community focus. It hosts a regular progr amme of author events, runs bookclubs and works closely with schools and the local library. The shop stocks a distinctive range of high quality cards, design led gifts and stationery and its cafe sells coffee, teas and a daily selection of homemade cakes. in January 2012, it was listed as one of the 50 best bookshops in the country by The Independent. 2012 has seen the development of a new 'online shop' as part of a revampted website and a pop-up' bookshop for shows and festivals.
