The shop has hosted an impressive roster of over 300 guest speakers, including; Diane Abbot, Lenny Henry, Eve, Caleb Azumah Nelson, and Dr Shola Mos-Shogbamimu. They work closely with small and large businesses, numerous universities and schools across Sussex, organising shop visits, pop-up shops and events, author visits and Brighton’s only Anti Racist Kids (ARK) club. Delivered in various schools throughout Sussex. The club’s impact is significant, cultivating an early appreciation for the importance of equity. There is a pay-it-forward scheme that allows customers to attend events or purchase books.
