Gen Z* are obsessed with books. They love to discuss their favourite characters with friends, and browse BookTok. They love books that allow them to experience empathy and inclusivity, and to see themselves in stories. They read books for fun and to help them relax, but they also enjoy books that enable them to do things for themselves. According to Neilsen BookData**, young people aged 22-24 are most likely to recommend and discuss books, and those aged 18-21 are most likely to watch book adaptations and enjoy collecting books. That's where National Book Tokens come in.

Whether they love to read fantasy novels or Victorian literature, or need books to write an important essay or to cook a delicious veggie recipe, National Book Tokens empower young people to choose just the right books for them.

Nominate someone aged 16 to 24 (or yourself!) to receive one of five £250/€250 National Book Tokens using the form below. The winners will be drawn at random after Sunday 20th October 2024.
