Five Leaves Bookshop stock is orientated towards independent presses, but we have a good representation of major publishing houses too. We like Fitzcarraldo Editions, political publishers including Verso and Pluto, poetry publishers such as Carcanet, translation houses such as Pushkin Press, the landscape publisher Little Toller then there's Faber, Granta... We have a large poetry section. Other sections in the shop include landscape/cityscape, music, general and translated fiction, Black Lives, politics, LGBT, feminism, social history, Jewish interest, Middle East/Palestine. Our children’s section is particularly strong on diversity. Five Leaves is a member of the Alliance of Radical Booksellers and The Booksellers Association Our webshop is www.fiveleavesbookshop.co.uk and our publishing side is at www.fiveleaves.co.uk We normally run about 75 events a year, sometimes more. These range from traditional author-book-audience events through to day events like Writing While Muslim and Reading Proud and community events with guest authors and panels from community groups. We run four book clubs - fiction, non-fiction, Pagan and Irish
