Sombra Poética means poetic shadow in Portuguese. This site is a small tribute to those who lived and still live in the shadow. We aim to promote Brazilian Black culture and literature, African culture and literature and the literature and culture of the diaspora, because it knows the importance of providing means of disseminating Black contributions to culture in general and especially to Brazilian culture.
