Independent bookshop in Penarth, South Wales. As Penarth’s only independent bookshop, we’re dedicated to finding the perfect book for every customer, whether that’s through the wide range of fiction and non-fiction titles we have in store, or through our speedy home delivery service. We love to bring you literary experiences - we host regular author event, bringing some of the biggest names and most exciting debut authors from across the UK and beyond to Penarth. We also hold a lively weekly toddler Storytime session and run a number of Book Clubs for adults and children. These events are now taking place online via Zoom, Facebook and Instagram. Our Children's Book Club is the perfect place for young readers to discuss some fantastic reads chosen by the group each month.

The age range for members is 8-12. We are currently meeting via Zoom while we're unable to hold our sessions in-person in the shop.

We'll choose the next month's book at the meeting and then email the pick out to our mailing list, so if you want to be included, please head over to the Children's Book Club section of our website (www.griffinbooks.co.uk) and enter your email in the space at the bottom of the page.

ORDERS
- We will continue taking orders via our online shop (www.griffinbooksonline.co.uk), email (info@griffinbooks.co.uk) and phone (029 2070 6455);
- All orders must be placed in advance via the online shop, email or phone - we cannot make new sales at the door.

COLLECTION / DELIVERY:
- We are open for doorstep collection of prepaid orders only from 9.00 am - 5.30 pm, Monday to Saturday, in line with Welsh Government restrictions;
- We are offering FREE home delivery of prepaid orders within Penarth for households who are shielding or self-isolating only;
- Postal orders will be fulfilled as normal.
