Practical hints for selling gift cards
Over the last few months we have answered lots of questions about the best way to operate the new gift card.

1) How best to handle School or multiple orders:
Use the Bulk Load option on the Web Administration application – this allows you to load up to 100 cards in a matter of seconds. You can also print out an A4 receipt showing all the cards in the batch and confirming the value on each. Information on Bulk Loading can be found in your user guide.
2) How should you give change for old paper vouchers:
If the change is less that £1, you should issue it on a gift card. This will allow you to give the exact amount and means you can stop stocking paper voucher as soon as you like.
3) Having problems using the receipt printer:
Most of the printer problems are associated with printer settings. We advise you to the Mozilla Firefox web browser (see your user guide).
Once you have downloaded the software, we recommend you do as follows:
a. Leave the Mozilla icon on your desk top
b. Select www.nationalbooktokens.co.uk/giftcard as your Mozilla home page
c. Then when you first log in you just click the Mozilla icon and it will open up the gift card system. Use your other web browser for everything else.
